12 October 2009 Stones & Streets of Bath

Dan Evans will give an interesting insight to the history, buildings and streets of Bath. 

9 November 2009 A trip to Jerusalem: Pubs and Pub Signs

14 December 2009 Origami on a Christmas and New Year Theme

Tony O'Hare and Judith Laing promote the craft of Origami via demonstrations and craft fairs.  Both have an interest in Japanese culture. Tony has written books on the subject of Origami. They will give you a chance to try your hand at this craft and willl bring Origami paper and materials for sale.

11 January 2010 4 Wroxham Drive, Little Stoke - Yellow Book

Mr and Mrs Ellington will give an insight on how they set up their garden to reach the RHS standard for entry to the scheme. This small garden in Little Stoke is a new entry in 2009 in the Royal Historical Society, National Garden Scheme - now called the 'Yellow Book'.  The garden opened for visitors for the first time in the summer of 2009, with entry fees going to charity (open days June and July 09 appointments required to visit).

8 February 2010 AGM

Followed by talk -  History of Fry's

Peter Goodchild will bring along archive footage of Fry's prior to moving to Keynsham and latterly at Keysham.  This a particularly topical subject as during 2010 the  Keynsham manufacturing site will close.
